Job 1 - Full-Time Racecourse On-Course Support
Position - Racecourse On-Course Support (Field-Based)

Permanent/Full-time (subject to a 6-month probation)

Location - South East England
We are looking for an ideal candidate who has/can:

Excellent customer service skills
-
Computer literate
-
Works well under pressure
-
Money handling
-
Ability to work alone and in a team

Good problem solving, organisation and literacy skills

Prepared for weekend work and overnight stays
-
Smart and presentable appearance
-
Physically fit due to the demands of role
-
Clean driving licence
Desirable but not essential:
-
Good understanding of computer networks (wired and wireless)
-
An understanding of horse racing/betting industry
-
An understanding of 3rd party software installations and configuration
-
Manual handling at work qualification
-
Basic first aid
Summary of duties and responsibilities:
You will be responsible for delivery of equipment to site in a timely manner, erecting and configuring of the RDT network to suit the environment. In addition to this you will assist the network users throughout the day with any hardware/software/connection issues they may incur before dismantling the network after racing.
